Terms of Service
Last updated: August 5, 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By inviting BypassGuard Security ("the Bot") to a Discord server, or by using it once it has been added, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, remove the Bot from your server and discontinue use.
2. What the Bot does
The Bot provides automated moderation for Discord servers: detecting prohibited content (including leetspeak/obfuscated text, emoji patterns, and visual spam), applying warnings, timeouts, message deletion, and proposing bans for a human moderator to confirm. Some features (honeypot traps, advanced detection, ban-request escalation) are gated by the server's subscription plan (Freemium, Pro, Max, or Enterprise).
3. Server owner responsibilities
The person who installs the Bot on a Discord server is responsible for configuring it appropriately for that server (log channels, rules, permissions) and for granting the Bot the Discord permissions it needs to function (Manage Messages, Moderate Members, Manage Channels, and related permissions requested at invite time). The Bot never executes a ban without explicit confirmation from a human moderator.
4. Subscription plans and billing
Pro, Max, and Enterprise plans are paid subscriptions granted per Discord server for a fixed duration. Payment is arranged directly with the operator through the payment method offered at time of purchase. Plans are non-transferable between servers and do not auto-renew unless explicitly agreed. When a paid plan expires, plan-gated features (including the honeypot trap channel, if configured) are disabled or removed; core moderation and logging continue to function on the Freemium tier.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Bot to violate Discord's own Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, to harass or evade moderation on another server, or to attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Bot's operation.
6. No warranty
The Bot is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Automated content detection is not perfect and may produce false positives or false negatives. The operator is not liable for moderation decisions taken by the Bot or by server staff using it.
7. Termination
The Bot may be removed from a server at any time by a server administrator (Discord's own "Kick" action). The operator may suspend service to any server for violation of these Terms or of Discord's policies.
8. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the support channels linked from the Bot's pricing page.
